Clinton High School To Begin Analyzing 'Wall of Honor' Nominations

width=The process of selecting individuals to Clinton High School's 'Wall of Honor' will soon be underway for induction this winter.

Candidates are nominated by community members and according to Clinton High School Principal Jerry Wayne, those nominations are then considered by a panel within the school. He explains they work very hard to ensure the most qualified individuals are then inducted.

When nominations come in, Wayne recognizes the individuals have done great things but he points out, it can be very difficult to differentiate what is worthy of a spot on the Wall of Honor.

For Wayne, the Wall of Honor is a great recognition of the alumni that have passed through Clinton High School. He says the point of the Wall of Honor is to also be more than just an athletic Hall of Fame.

Along with Wayne, there are two representatives of the Clinton Athletic Booster Club including their president, a CHS graduate, and a community business owner.

Wall of Honor inductees are recognized at a banquet at a home Clinton High School boys basketball game.
