A Clinton physician's former office manager was arrested and arraigned Friday in US District Court in Springfield.

46 year old Veronica Luster of Clinton, entered a plea of "not guilty" on 2 counts of mail fraud and nine counts of wire fraud. Luster was released on her own recognizance.

A jury trial of Dec. 1 was set.

Luster was accused of misusing company money from Dr. Farrukh Kureishy's office in June of 2014.

She left Dr. Kureishy's office in March of 2014.

Multiple calls to the Springfield FBI Office went unreturned.
