>>Seahawks RB Jackson Fine After Drag Racing Accident

Seahawks running back Fred Jackson crashed his car after leaving the Seahawks' training facility Tuesday.

width=Contrary to a report that the accident was a result of "drag racing" with fellow Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reports Jackson just pulled out of the team facility a little fast and wasn't racing anybody.

ProFootballTalk's Curtis Crabtree and Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times tweeted pictures of what appears to be Jackson's car after the accident.

Jackson would later give his own confirmation of the chain of events, saying quote - "Thanks 2 everyone worried about me. I lost control of my car. My teammates, including Marshawn, stopped 2 check on me. They weren't racin me".

Jackson joined the Seahawks before the season after spending eight years with the Bills. He has 10 carries for 52 yards this season but didn't log a carry in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.

It seemed like a real long shot to see Dez Bryant on the field before the mid point of the season after the Cowboys receiver left in Week 1 with a broken foot. Reports of his absence ranged from four weeks to an absurdly long 12 weeks.

The Cowboys appeared to be targeting the Week 7 post-bye game against the Giants in their ideal situation. According to Jerry Jones on CBS Sports Radio's 105.3 the Fan they're going to try and give Dez a go this weekend.

Jones said quote- "We'll take a good look at him tomorrow and at the end of the week. If he's comfortable to putting it down and driving off of his foot then we're comfortable with him playing."
