Clinton School teachers were recently honored in front of the Board of Education.

According to Superintendent Curt Nettles, last spring, a pair of teachers and a community member were recognized from a local level and state level for their outstanding work.

The late Carol Thompson was the community award winner. In a prepared statement from the latest Board of Education meeting, Nettles says, anyone who met her was inspired in some way by her example.
