Clinton High School Golfer Recognized By Board of Education

 width=Clinton High School sophomore Chase Reynolds had an exceptional year on the golf course this year.

Clinton Athletic Director Barry Gurvey indicates Reynolds' highlights included a conference tournament championship and an excellent showing at Regionals to propel him to the Sectional in Lincoln.

Golf Coach Randy Workman says Reynolds works very hard at his game. Workman indicates Reynolds is out all summer playing and is taking advantage of indoor opportunities as well.

For Workman, Reynolds' play was exceptional from the Central Illinois Conference Tournament to the Regional. Workman says when they went to Sectionals in Lincoln, competition took a big step forward.

Workman says there is no doubt to him, Reynolds will be a State Tournament competitor at some point in the next two years.
