The 2015 harvest is wrapping.

That's the message from State Crop Statistician Mark Schleussner. He explains with little rain, farmers were able to take care of post-harvest maintenance and finish things up.

Schleussner says winter wheat planting continues and is 49-percent of the crop is considered in good condition.

Sorghum harvest is 94% complete.

Average topsoil moisture was rated as five percent very short 21 short 69 adequate and five percent surplus.
