Children's Advocacy Centers Seeking Community Support this Holiday Season

The Children's Advocacy Center, which serves DeWitt, McLean and Livingston Counties is hoping you'll think of them as you do your shopping this holiday season.

They are not asking for much, in fact, it's very basic things they are seeking. Judy Brucker is the Executive Director of the CAC and says they have their annual Blue Kids trees out in area businesses and the things you'll find on those trees are simple things they need through the course of the year for their clients.

Having the support of those in the various communities in which the trees are placed is a huge lift to the agencies. Brucker says each year they place around 30 trees in area businesses and she says it's a huge boos to their mission of helping abused children.

The trees in Clinton can be found at the Dr. John Warner Hospital but for a list of items the agency needs, you can find the information and drop off locations at their website, mcleancpn.org or call 309-88-5656.
