Watson Says He'll Retire If He Ever Reaches Wordl No. 1

width=What would Bubba Watson do if he ever reached world number-one in the golf world?

He'd retire?

"(Winning the Hero World Challenge is) very big for my career personally, but I don't see it as 10 (wins)," said Watson on Sunday. "I need two, or nine, that's what it is. I still need two more still. But I will give you this though: If I ever become No. 1 in the world, ever somehow, I'm walking away. I'm going to walk away on top. But let's be honest, nobody here's voting on that, right? Everybody thinks I'm not going to do that."

Watson is pretty far away from being No. 1 despite only having three golfers in front of him. He'd have to go on a Jordan Spieth-like tear to start 2016 to sniff the top spot.
