Clinton High School Principal Reflects on First Semester

 width=It's finals week at Clinton High School and their leader is reflecting on the first semester.

Principal Jerry Wayne (right) says they have tried some new things this year for their students. Wayne explains the rearranging of their various hallways is giving students access to things they need.

The Clinton High School football team's first playoff appearance in over a decade has increased the excitement around the sports programs and Wayne says it is evident that the student support has increased.

As the two-day finals period approaches, Wayne hopes his students will keep their heads down and stay focused on finishing the semester strong.

As the semester concludes, Wayne encourages his students to take some time during their break to reflect and evaluate what they have done and look ahead to next semester.

As Wayne reflects on the positive aspects of the first semester, he also says there have been some challenges, most notably trying to find suitable options for his students to take the ACTs.
