The Clinton Maroons boys basketball team overcame a 33-28 halftime deficit and beat Beardstown 73-60.

The Maroons outscored Beardstown 17-3 in the third quarter, propelling them to their third win this season.

Peyton McCubbin poured in 28 points. Austin Baker added 21 and Jacob Overton contributed 11 points.

D'ante McWilliams paced Beardstown with 19.

The Maroons are Argenta-Oreana tonight at 6 pm.
