State Senator Bill Brady believes its time for a shift in the budget discussion.
With the state closing in on the halfway point of the fiscal year without a budget, the Bloomington Republican thinks it might be time to start thinking ahead, although there is one big lingering issue.

Like other Republican lawmakers, Brady doesn't believe the solution to the state's budget woes is House Speaker Madigan's push to return the state's income tax rate to 5 percent without business friendly reforms.
