Blue Ridge Blasts Neoga at Monticello Holiday Hoopla

 width=A 16-0 first half burst propelled the Blue Ridge Knights past Neoga Monday night, 75-42 in the nightcap of day two at the Monticello Holiday Hoopla.

Lindi Balazi exploded offensively, pacing Blue Ridge with 22 points and three assists to just one turnover.

Chase Zimmerman fell just short of another double-double with 19 points and eight rebounds.

The Knights turned 20 Neoga turnovers into 36 points, 18 in the second quarter alone and coach Joe Sawyer was able to play 10 guys in double figure minutes in their second game of the day at the Holiday Hoopla.

The Knights will take on GCMS at 6 pm Tuesday for third place. Blue Ridge improves to 8-3 on the year.
