PBL Overcomes Monticello

Jonny Walder made two free throws with Paxton-Buckley-Loda trailing by one with 15 seconds left, lifting PBL past Monticello, 58-57 on Tuesday night in non-conference boys basketball action.

 width=The Sages overcame a nine point deficit early in the second half and led most of the fourth quartere, however, a late rally by PBL was enough for them to escape Monticello.

Zach Fisher led the way for Monticello with 13 points. Isiah Florey added 11 and Calvin Fisher and Sutten Winterbotton had ten points apiece.

Noah Freemon also had five points and five assists.

Walder led PBL with 16 and Andrew Zenner added 15 points.

The Sages drop to 7-2 overall while PBL improves to 11-2.
