A poor start against Roanoke-Benson on Monday night doomed the Clinton Lady Maroons as they fell 61-37 in non-conference action.

Roanoke-Benson took a 12-2 lead into the second quarter and led 51-24 after three quarters.

The Lady Maroons were led by Faythe Newberry's 20 points.

The Lady Maroons drop to 8-9 overall.
