The positive identification of missing 24-year old Ashley Gibson was confirmed by the Champaign County Coroner Monday.

Gibson's remains were found at Clinton Lake Sunday afternoon.

Champaign Police believe Gibson died in Champaign County and the autopsy did not reveal any indications of fatal injuries prior to her death.

Gibson had been missing since April 17.
