The quasquicentennial will be celebrated at a McLean County entity this weekend.

The 125th anniversary of the Miller Park Zoo will be celebrated this weekend. Zoo Superintendent Jay Tetzloff explains this year's birthday party for the zoo will be an all day affair.

Tetzloff says the Zoo in the last 20 years has come a long ways and says there's reason to be excited going forward.

On the heels of the 125th celebration for the zoo will be the long awaited flamingo exhibit. Tetzloff explains this exhibit will be the introduction to what the zoo has planned for the future.
