A cattle truck transporting livestock to a farm in Iowa overturned Thursday morning at the Rantoul exit on Interstate 57.

State Police indicate troopers are on scene trying to keep the cattle and calf cool by spraying them with water.

The University of Illinois Veterinary Medicine will assist as well as a local contractor taking animals away from the scene.

The overturned vehicle will be towed.

Travelers in this area are asked to use caution.
