Blue Ridge Schools Report Card A 'Mixed Bag'

School report cards information was released earlier this week and area school leaders are reacting as they digest all the information available.

Susan Wilson is the Superintendent of Blue Ridge Schools and says their graduation rate is very strong for the area. She says a couple programs they have in place are starting to pay off.

According to Wilson, other trends of the report card indicate some good economic news but students choosing post-secondary education is below the state average.

Wilson says for parents or community members that are going to analyze the data of the report card, take a look at all the information. She says it can help in analyzing where their district is at.

Wilson says the report card is a snap shot of one year but at illinoisreportcard.com, you can get trend charts to compare year to year data.
