The DeWitt County Board is considering a measure that would allow them to start their meetings earlier.
Board Chair David Newberg indicates the meetings are still planned to be scheduled for the third Thursday after the first Tuesday, but the start time could be changed.
The County Board will consider the change at their re-organization meeting, to be held December 5.
At that time, the Board will also organize and choose County Board Chair, Vice Chair and committee selections.
