DeWitt County Sheriff Jered Shofner's office recently promoted four individuals.
Sheriff Jered Shofner indicates deputies Tim Cohenour and Brandon Hardwick were promoted to deputy Sargeant. The Sheriff calls sargeants the 'backbone of the department'.
Additionally, Josh McClain and Bryson Barnes were added to the force as deputies. The Sheriff says Nick Hubrick is also being promoted.
Chief Deputy Rob Spickard swore in the new deputies at the December DeWitt County Board meeting.
