At approximately 3:25 pm Tuesday afternoon, authorities were notified of a threat to Clinton Junior High School.

Superintendent Curt Nettles says the threat, found on a bathroom wall, was deemed to be erroneous and normal protocols were followed and authorities were notified.

Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers would not comment on the situation.
