A night of playing defense for the two men running for Governor in Illinois. Republican Bruce Rauner and Democrat JB Pritzker squared off in another debate last night and the handling of an outbreak of deadly Legionella bacteria at a veteran’s home in Quincy. A new report shows that Rauner’s administration delayed in relaying information to the public about the problems at the home. Rauner contends it was an appropriate move.
Pritzker took the opportunity to jump on Rauner.
The two also traded jabs over Pritzker’s removal of toilets from a mansion he owned in Chicago in order to get a property tax break.
