They call it a “Foods Resource Bank Harvest Celebration”. It will be held Saturday at the Gary and Jean Dau (DOW) farm on North 42nd Road—just two miles west of Sheridan in LaSalle County. The project arranges for farmers and others in this country to financially support third world farmers trying to improve their situations says Project Leader Paul Youngstrum:

Youngstrum says it’s not about shipping food grown here overseas. He says farmers in developing countries need help buying animals and equipment and then want to sustain themselves without handouts.
