A non-profit organization looks to help armed forces who are serving around the globe in war zones. 

Operation Santa a nonprofit which supports deployed troops collects items to ship over during Christmas says, Graduate Teaching Assitant Jessa Hendricker.

The stockings get filled with several items such as granola bars, toothbrushes, foot powder, hand wipes, lip balm, notebooks, deodorant and more.

Operation Santa works with Illinois State to help support the deployed troops.

Operation Santa has a few locations located around Clinton to help collect some of the trial size items at Thomas Automotive and NAPA Auto Parts. They will be collecting items through October 30th.
