Students at SIUE struggling with keeping food on their table have a new resource at their disposal. The school recently launched the Cougar Cupboard food pantry in the Morris University Center, where students can find groceries and some hygiene products. Sarah Laux (locks), associate director of the Kimmel Student Involvement Center says this is the product of an idea that was developed over the past few years.
The Cougar Cupboard is run entirely on donations, and is open to active students, faculty and staff with a valid SIUE ID on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. For more information, go to siue.edu/kimmel/community/CougarCupboard
