The Community Action Parternship of Central Illinois is now accepting applicants for the weatherization waitlist.

Allison Rumler-Gomez, Community Action CEO, indicates that the weatherization program is designed to help low income families make their homes more efficient.

Rumler-Gomez says that while they can assist more families through the LIHEAP program, Community Action can only weatherize twenty to thirty homes a year. She states that the savings from the weatherization program is substantial for the beneficiaries.
