The expected cold is forcing the closure of the DeWitt County Courthouse Wednesday and part of the day Thursday.

Sheriff Mike Walker says ahead of the expected frigid temps Wednesday, the decision was made to keep their employees home for the day. He adds if you have business at the courthouse, you have until 4:30 pm today to get it done.
