Rams Express Interested in Peyton Manning

Everyone expects Peyton Manning to retire after Super Bowl 50, hanging it up after one last rodeo. Except the Los Angeles Rams.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Rams had internal discussions about bringing Manning to Los Angeles for the 2016 season.

All of this hinges on Manning wanting to play another season of course. And it makes sense.

The Rams haven't had a quarterback under Jeff Fisher. Landing Manning wouldn't qualify as finding a franchise signal caller, but it would be an upgrade.

Manning is playing in his fourth Super Bowl on Sunday, suiting up for the Broncos against the Panthers. Winning for Denver would give him a shot to walk away from football and become just the second Hall of Fame quarterback to win a Super Bowl in his final game, joining his boss John Elway.
