As heard on 92.3 FM WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fall to the Meridian Hawks by a score of 57-54 on Friday night. The Maroons were led by Stephan York Country Financial Player of the Game Jr. Peyton McCubbin with 20 points. Sophomore Austin Baker added 12 points and Sr. Jacob Overton also chipped in with 11 points.
The Hawks were led by Layne Kircher with 18 points and Judah Renfro added 16 points.
With the loss the Maroons fall to 7-18 on the season.
