Ben Williamson went the distance on the hill and drove in three runs, including a home run, as the Blue Ridge Knights routed Heyworth 11-1 in Heart of Illinois baseball action Tuesday.

Williamson went five innings allowing a run that was unearned on on two hits and struck out eight to just two walks.

He finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs, including the home run and scored a run.

Alec Lyle blasted a home run for Blue Ridge as well. He finished 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Isaac Trotter, Cory Jayne and Calvin Florey each added a pair of hits. Jayne and Dylan Lytel had a pair of RBIs apiece for the Knights who improve to 16-8 overall and 9-1 in HOI baseball action.

The Knights take on Ridgeview today in Colfax.
