Andrew Erickson was terrific on the mound for Tuscola and helped his own cause as the Warriors blanked the Clinton Maroons 4-0 in Central Illinois Conference boys baseball action.

Erickson threw six strong innings allowing no runs on two hits, issuing two walks and struck out three. Cole Thomas finished the game with a scoreless inning of relief.

Erickson helped his own cause with an RBI double and Nick Bates finished 2-for-3 with a double.

Travis Osgood was excellent on the mound for the Maroons despite not getting any run support. He went the distance allowing four runs, three earned, on eight hits with three walks and three strikeouts.

Jacob Overton finished 1-for-3 with a double and Mac Hickman was 1-for-3.

The Maroons are 3-16 overall and 0-9 in CIC play.
