>>Spieth Says He Isn't Taking Augusta Collapse Very Hard

You are probably taking Jordan Spieth's Masters loss harder than Jordan Spieth is taking it. Spieth is in Oakmont this week and spoke on Tuesday about the most famous meltdown of his career.

Spieth said quote-"The good news is that I've got a lot of great memories there. I'm not taking it very hard. I've got ladies at the grocery stores putting their hand on me and going, "Really praying for you; how are you doing.' I'm like, 'My dog didn't die.' I'll be OK. I'll survive. It happens. It was unfortunate timing."

Jack Nicklaus thinks the Masters disaster might end up being a good thing for Spieth's career.

>>Rory Heavy Favorite This Weekend At Wells Fargo Championship

After last week's mini-disaster at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans (rain, short tournament, bad field), this week's Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow feels like a major. Fourteen of the top 30 golfers in the world will be contending in Charlotte.

Rory McIlroy turned 27 on Wednesday, the day before the tournament. This tournament was the site of his first (and to date, last) PGA Tour win. He's won two of his seven non-majors on the PGA Tour here, holds the tournament and course scoring record and generally owns this week (he's only finished outside the top 10 one time).

If McIlroy is going to win this year, this is probably the most likely place for him to do it.
