Former Bears DL Bryan Robinson Dies at Age 41

Authorities are waiting for the results of toxicology tests to determine what caused the death of former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Bryan Robinson.

Robinson was found at a Milwaukee motel Saturday night. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says an autopsy conducted Monday found no trauma.

Robinson, of Gurnee, Illinois, was 41. He was with the Bears from 1998 to 2003 and also played for the St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals.

Robinson had a game-saving blocked field goal in Green Bay six days after Walter Payton died in 1999. He preserved a 14-13 victory over the Packers by blocking a 28-yard field goal attempt by Ryan Longwell in the final seconds.

The Bears say Robinson will be remembered for his determination and work ethic.
