Ben Singleton's game winning jumper lifted Monticello past Tri-Valley 48-46 Saturday afternoon from Downs. Johnny Dawson drove the base line and threw a desperation layup that missed and Singleton corralled the loose ball and sank a jumper from the elbow. The Sages were led by Luke Stokowski with 15 points and Jonny Dawson added 13.

For Tri-Valley, the Vikings were led by Hunter Merritt with 28 points.

With the win Monticello improves to 8-3 on the season and Tri-Valley falls to 5-8.
