Nathan Doty scored 37 points for Sangamon Valley as the Storm held on Tuesday night against the Maroa-Forsyth Trojans, 63-58 in non-conference boys basketball action.
Doty scored 24 of 37 in the second half and shot 21 for 25 from the free throw line. Jimmy Staab finished with 16 points for the Storm, with 13 in the first half.
Daanish Mahmood paced the Trojans with 20 points and Jaxson Nelson added 14 points. Ian Bonner chipped in with 12 for the Trojans.
