Tuscola Wins CIC Girls Basketball Tournament From Clinton High School

Emma Henderson scored 24 points to lead the Tuscola Lady Warrios to a Central Illinois Conference girls basketball tournament title 49-26 over Decatur St. Teresa at Clinton High School Thursday night.
 
Henderson scored 20 points in the first half, helping the Lady Warriors build a 25-10 halftime lead, while holding the Lady Bulldogs to just one field goal in the second quarter.
 
Henderson was the only player to reach double figurs for the game.
 
DaeLin Switzer scored nine points to lead the Lady Bulldogs and Makenna Thornton added seven points.
 
The Lady Bulldogs made just six field goals for the game.
 
In the third fourth place game from Clinton High School, Sullivan edged Central A&M 52-49.
