Rochester High School turned Illini quarterback Wes Lunt isn't ready to give up on pro football dreams after all.
Lunt's college career has had its share of disappointments and injuries, not only at the University of Illinois, but at Oklahoma State University, where he started for a time as a true freshman.
He thought his football playing days were drawing to a close last fall but that all changed when a college football all star game came calling.
Lunt is in San Diego training for the NFL Draft or free agent opportunities. Some sportswriters say he helped his stock the most at the East West Shrine Game.
