The Monticello Lady Sages senior class will embark on something they've not been able to do in four at Monticello High School: Win Sectionals.

 

The Lady Sages wrapped up their fourth straight Regional title last Thursday night from Argenta Oreana High School in dominating fashion, with a 55-15 win over Unity.

 

The Lady Sages allowed a total of 26 points in the Argenta-Oreana Regional and will try to duplicate that tonight when they head to the Champaign St. Thomas More Sectional and face off against Fithian-Oakwood at 7:30 pm.

 

Despite four straight Regional titles, the Lady Sages have not been able to get that elusive Sectional championship.

 

The winner of tonight's ballgame takes on the winner of Clifton Central and Bloomington Central Catholic Thursday night at 7 pm.
