Two Clinton High School wrestlers are still in contention at the IHSA State Wrestling meet in Champaign.
Logan Winter will go for the state title in the 182-pound class Saturday night after his victory tonight.
Luke Shobe is in the quarterfinals of the wrestleback round in his weight class. He'll wrestle again Saturday morning between 9am and 10am. If Shobe wins his match tomorrow morning, he'll be guaranteed a medal (as high as 3rd, no lower than 6th). If he loses Saturday morning, he is eliminated.
Four other Clinton wrestlers advanced to the state tournament at the University of Illinois' State Farm Center. They were: Christian Reynolds, Kolby Winter, Micah Downs, and Kyle Hammer.
