Makenzie Heyen scored 16 points to lead three Unity Rocket scorers in double-figures as Unity ended the regular season on a winning note with a 70-37 victory over Maroa-Forsyth in non-conference boys basketball action Saturday night.
Heyen scored all 16 points in the second half, including 11 in the fourth quarter. JT Wheeler added 14 point with nine points in the first quarter and Steven Migut chipped in with 11 points for the Trojans.
Jaxson Nelson led the Trojans with ten points. Mitchell Hayden added eight points and Daanish Mahmood and Jaren Bretz each chipped in with six points.
The Trojans head to the Meridian Regional tonight to take on Cerro Gordo-Bement while Unity stays home for their Regional opener tonight against Broadlands-Heritage.
