Illinois Hosts Rutgers Saturday; ISU, EIU In Action

Illinois (2-3, 0-2) returns home to host Rutgers (1-4, 0-2) Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Illinois' defense forced five turnovers, including a 78-yard interception return for touchdown by Darius Mosely, and Kendrick Foster scored two touchdowns as Illinois left Rutgers with a 24-7 win last season.
 
Illinois moved the ball better than it had all season last Saturday at Iowa, gaining a season-high 446 yards of total offense, including a season-high 200 rushing yards.
 
Game time is 11 am and can be seen on the Big Ten Network.

After suffering its first loss of the season, No. 15/17 Illinois State looks to get back on track and improve to 3-0 in Valley Football play when it wraps up a two-game road swing in Carbondale, Illinois, against in-state foe Southern Illinois.
 
Senior defensive tackle Dalton Keene was all over the field last Saturday for the Redbirds at NAU.  The Jacksonville, Illinois, native recorded a season-high 10 tackles, recorded a sack and finished with a career-best three tackles for loss for the Redbirds against the Lumberjacks.

Off a thrilling upset of Tennessee Tech at home last Saturday, the Eastern Illinois Panthers hit the road to take on Murray State this Saturday.
 
The Racers enter action at just 1-4 on the season while EIU is 4-2 overall and 2-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play.
