Going largely unchallenged in most every game, the GCMS Falcons rolled through the regular season and will look to keep their momentum going headed into the IHSA postseason.
GCMS Coach Scott Allen says the conference was down this season and allowed his senior dominated group to roll through the schedule unbeaten.
Because the Falcons have been so good, Coach Allen says he did something not many coaches would want to do but he turned up the competitiveness in their practices.
Coach Allen points out his guys up front have improved a lot this year and they have found some guys that are first year starters playing well.
GCMS will play host 5-4 Eastland Pearl City at 2 pm on Saturday.
