Tri-Valley To Rely on Experience in Postseason

Experience in the high school football postseason can be one the greatest assets a team has and no one knows that better than state champion coach Josh Roop.

His Tri-Valley Vikings were 2015 State Champs in 2A and Roop seems to always have the experience to go deep into November. He says this year's seniors know the taste of winning and hopes to tap into that in this year's postseason.

For Tri-Valley, as usual, it starts up front. Coach Roop says they have three returning All-Conference lineman but they faced some adversity early on they had to overcome.

If Tri-Valley wants to make a run at a state title again this year, Coach Roop says they are going to have to get better each week of the postseason.

The Vikings host Bunker Hill Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. Tri-Valley went 8-1 in the regular season. Bunker Hill enters action 5-4 overall.
