Skylar Hayes scored 14 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter leading the Mt. Pulaski Lady Hilltoppers past the Riverton Lady Hawks 52-49 Tuesday night from the Clinton Turkey Tussle.
The Lady Hilltoppers trailed 37-30 but Hayes came alive and helped rally Mt. Pulaski to a 22-12 fourth quarter scoring advantage.
Savanah Moore scored six of her eight points in the first quarter for Mt. Pulaski and Isabella Wade and Zoey Lowe each added seven in the victory.
Abigail Waters and Addison Pals each paced the Lady Hawks with 11 points.
The Lady Hilltoppers and Lady Hawks are each 1-1 for the Turkey Tussle and the season.
