Clinton Lady Maroons Stung by Heyworth Lady Hornets

In a non-conference game heard on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons fell to the Heyworth Lady Hornets by a score of 59-45 on Tuesday night. The Lady Maroons were led by senior Alyssa Saulsbery with 16 points. Saulsbery was selected as the Country Financial representative Brad James Maroons Player of the Game. Senior Madi Filkin also chipped in with 13 points.

 

For Heyworth, they were led by Stephanie Brown with 17 points and Chassidy Hays added 14. Heyworth played the whole game with their five starters.

 

With the loss, the Lady Maroons fall to 2-4 on the season and Heyworth improves to 4-1.
