The Monticello girls basketball squad will head to the Iriquios West Sectional tonight to take on Watseka after a thrilling 48-46 overtime win over Oakwood to advance to their fifth straight sectional.

 

The Lady Sages had to overcome a comeback from Oakwood in the fourth quarter and then tie the game at the end of regulation. It was back and forth early on in overtime but Monticello took the lead on a Zanna Myers layup and never reinquished it winning the Georgetown Ridge Farm Regoinal.
