Maroa-Forsyth Downs Olympia At Regionals

Four players scored in double figures for Maroa-Forsyth as the Trojans downed Olympia 69-54 in Class 2A Regional boys basketball action from Bloomington Central Catholic High School Monday night.
 
Aaron Agee scored 14 of his game high 19 points in the first half. Daanish Mahmood scored 18 points, Aaron Woodrow scored nin of his 11 points in the fourth quarter, including shooting 3-for-6 from the foul line, and Anthony Campbell added ten points.
 
The Trojans got off to a fast start with a 23-9 lead after the first quarter, and while the Spartans kept up the rest of the way, the Trojans balance was too much for Olympia.
 
The Trojans are now 7-19 overall and will take on Bloomington Central Catholic in Regional semifinal action tonight at 6 pm.
