Maroons Fall to St. Teresa

The Clinton Maroons baseball team fell to St. Teresa by a score of 4-3 on Monday night. 
 
There were a combined seven errors in the ball game and the two teams allowed just one earned run of the seven runs scored. 
 
The Maroons opened up a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning as Jake Wade drove in a run as just one of the three runs were earned for Bulldogs starter Kelly Osbourne.
 
St. T came back in the bottom half of the inning with four runs, none were earned for Maroons starter Mac Hickman. Hickman struck out 16 over six innings of work.
 
The Maroons committed five errors for the game. 
 
The Maroons were led by Country Financial Brad James' Player of the Game Logan Peterson who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
 
Osborne pitched all 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 3 hits with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.
 
With the loss the Maroons fall to 4-6 on the season and 4-2 in conference action.
