Big Sixth Inning Propels Clinton Past Decatur St. Teresa

Clinton used a five run fifth inning and Jake Wade went the distance on the mount help the Maroons get past Decatur St. Teresa 11-1 Thursday afternoon in Central Illinois Conference boys baseball action from Decatur.
 
Wade struck out 14 over his seven innings. He walked zero batters and allowed an unearned run on four hits.
 
Mac Hickman doubled in two going 2-for-4. Braden Cross also finished 2-for-4.
 
Seth Gillespey finished 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs.
 
The Maroons are 5-7 overall and 5-3 in the Central Illinois Conference.
 
Clinton will take on Warrensburg-Latham today.
