Maroons Rally Past Sullivan

Trailing 4-2 after three and a half innings, the Clinton Maroons bats came alive for the bottom of the fourth as they outscored Sullivan 9-3 the rest of the way for an 11-7 win in a makeup game of Central Illinois Conference boys baseball action Monday afternoon from Clinton.
 
Mack Hickman went the distance allowing just two earned runs as the Maroons defense comitted six erros. Hickman struck out 14 to just one walk and seven hits.
 
Hickman also doubled and walked. Parker West scored four times finishing 3-for-3 with a walk. Cameron Wertz and Michael Oswald each drove in a pair. Wertz added a double finishing 2-for-3.
 
The Maroons are 6-8 overall and now 6-4 in the Central Illinois Conference.
